GENERAL ANTHROPOLOGY

An Intelligence Report on the Anthropology of the Ashanti People describing their; Cross-Cousin Marriage, Magic, Religion, Craft, etc. It also has the report of the various tribes in the Southern and Northern Nigeria Province and their census as at 1931.

1931

HARMAN FOUNDATION

A correspondence between K.C. Murray and Miss Evelyn .S. Brown from the Harman Foundation in the U.S.A about supporting artists for exhibition and the list of the artists and their addresses. Correspondence from D.L.K Nnachy who is also an artist to K.C. Murray was also documented.

LAGOS OPPORTUNITIES

The report on minutes of the Lagos Opportunities Industrialization Centre meeting held in November 1971 written by Bola Olatunji. It also has the minutes of the Lagos Opportunities Industrialization Board of Trustees meeting written by A.K. Laguda. There are also program job description for some job openings, eg, Administrative Manager, Counselor, Training Supervisor, Pre-Vocational Instructor, Finance Officer, etc.

Local Dealers

Letters indicating the list of local antiquities dealers in some states in Nigeria and also correspondence between the Department of Antiquity and Police Department alerting them of illegal sales of antiquities.

NIGERIA TAKING OVER AND COMPLETION

NIGERIAN FIELD INDEX

A report on the Specimen Entries from the Nigerian Field Society. It also documents the Index of Arts, Skills, Trades, Occupations, Sports, Past Times, History, Folklore, Customs etc. of some Tribes.

1967

NIGERIAN MUSEUM ARTICLES

An intelligence report that described some Exhibited Arts from Nigeria's first Exhibition of Antiquities. It also has a correspondence between K.C. Murray and the Chief Secretary of the Government seeking permission to Publish Articles from the Exhibition.
